In 1981, The Clear View School Day Treatment program established a new and permanent home at the site of the former Scarborough School in Briarcliff Manor, New York. Here both the historic primary structure that had been commissioned as a school by Frank and Narcissa Vanderlip in 1913, and a more recently constructed classroom building, were renovated for Clear View by the noted architect Laszlo Papp. Set on 17 acres of lovely wooded land, these spacious facilities now accommodate an enrollment of over 118 children.
On May 17, 2006, The Thomas and Agnes Carvel Center for the Arts, a graceful new building designed by Romano Architects, was opened on the Clear View campus. Together, these two remarkable facilities provide students with full opportunities to academically achieve and explore creative self expression through experience in the arts.
